I am excited yet concerned for the upcomming season

Frank Darabont left the show about 3 episodes into filming due to what has been described as "creative differences"

I loved the comic loved the first season and excited for the second season hopefully it meets expectations

People spend one day a year pretending to be monsters...

I for one cannot wait!

Loved the first season, and I'm just hoping that the second season is just as good. I'm with SKOM, I too loved the graphic novels, read them all again recently, they are fookin' amazing!

I think the thing that I love so much about it is the Rick character.....in the Graphic Novels that guys just can't catch a break all this bad shit happens to him one bit after another.

It adds so much drama and realisum to it.

Finally watched the first episode of the new series last night.
All I can say is, it was well worth the wait! Loved it, infact, loved it so much, I'm going to watch it again tonight!

I have to confess, I was a "Walking Dead" virgin until the 2nd season premiere last week, and I was simply hooked after that one episode. Ever the researcher am I, Wikipedia filled in the blanks for Season 1 so I didn't have to. Tonight's follow-up "Bloodletting" episode was even better. Can't wait til next Sunday night.

I haven't been this enthused about broadcast television since "Malcolm In The Middle" was still on the air, and God knows that's been five years now....

hmm it's been so long that I'll have to re-watch season 1... I am wondering if they are going to fallow the storyline from graphic novels? They get crazy later on, and so far, tv series had that novel feeling to it.

You know you are a true horror fan when someone sees your DVD collection and accuse you of being a Satanist. :wub:

Not digging the boy being hurt! Blahhhh. Another excellent episode. I was wondering id rick was really crying. Some actors can do it on cue so that always has me curious. :badgrin:

This show being successful is going to hinge on any kids in the show never growing up really fast, you know. I'm expecting any kids to get killed off pretty quick.

Wow, each episode of Season 2 is a definite cliffhanger!

(SPOILERS below!)
If you haven't seen any of Season 2, please do not read any further, unless you want a good story spoiled.

Ep 1: Carl is inexplicably shot by a hunter's stray bullet.
Ep 2: Shane and Otis are trapped in a medical supply room, surrounded by "walkers" (zombies).
Ep 3: Shane shoots Otis in the leg and leaves him to be eaten by the walkers, simply to ensure his escape with the medical supplies for Carl, but lies about Otis' fate when he returns to the farmhouse.
Ep 4: Lori discreetly discovers that she is with child; and Shane, not Rick, is the only possible father.

This show is must-see TV. I'm hooked.
