I loved those films. The first one is a classic, the second was good. Third was good and the fourth was a good conclusion to the series. I'm going to get the four movie special. I think those movies were better than Gremlins and Munchies, Ghoulies were right up there with the Critters movies.

Ghoulies were horrible if I remember correctly... or I might mixed them up with that softcore\horror Critters rip off... Can't remember what's the name of the title, but I think it's Full Moon production.

The sequel is more fast paced (which is good with a Gremlins rip-off), actually has some gore, a better sense of humor. The characters are still mostly boring. But, I consider this a superior film than the original.
Missed parts 3 & 4.

one of the reasons I don't watch some movies more then once.
but in some cases I can watch them zillion of times and never get bored (like Evil Dead 1-2, first Elm Street... )

I usually prefer really bad movies that try to be very serious. Those are usually the funniest.... but in most cases when bad movies try to be bad, they just end up being annoying and really bad... which is the case in most Troma movies for the last few years.
