Well, Wishmaster is a really weird rip-off. Like Saw, it's about 10 different things stuck together. Especially the monster. Who is Predator + Candyman + Leprechaun + ... I had a list. I'll find it later.
Anyway, I liked it as a teenager. Bought the DVD and rewatched it about 4-5 years ago... Now I hate it. A lot. But, there are a few good things in it. One of them being that Shirley MacLaine lookalike.

Hmm, so Djinn is a Alien that likes bee and gold?
I always thought that make up in first one looks bad, like he was dropped from Power Ranger series, but make up was lot better in Wishmaster 2. Djinn was also better in part 2. In first one, he was like lawyer "Give me this, give me that, there you have it" while in part 2 he had more of a "free" wish granting.

Billy Zane was awesome there.
anyway, speaking of Devoff-no- make-up, it's another reason why I liked part 2 more. He was with mob member there who knew what he was so he was acted like Djinn even while he had "human mask". Scene in prison was also funny, when Djinn wants cigarettes.

Not a big fan but I will throw in the first one from time to time when I'm bored.

If I ever put Wishmaster in my player because I'm bored, hide every gun in the near vacinity.
