Thought I'd pop in to say yo! Been away for a longass time. Last night I watched Silver Bullet for the first time and I loved it, so I thought it would be a good topic to post about.

I actually thought it was one of the best werewolf films I've seen, with a deliciously dark streak of humor running throughout. Gary Busey is great as the drunken uncle. It reminded me what a great actor he used to be. It was also bittersweet seeing Corey Haim, who gave an excellent performance. He was so bright eyed and talented, it was sad knowing what lay ahead of him.

Loved the gore and make-up - good old in-camera FX. If it was being made today, it would be all horrible CG shit.
