Y'all ever hear of the Ogopogo? It a lake monster in the Okanagan Lake in BC... bout 3-4 hours from where I live. Its similar to the story of the Loch Ness Monster.... Ive always been intrigued by the whole lake monster mythos....

The Okanagan Lake is huge! Not quite as big as Loch Ness, but still big! I member being bout 8-9 years old and spending a summer on the lake with my friend (who lived there at the time)... his dad took us out in a boat... we had life jackets on etc... he then stopped the boat literally in the middle of the lake and picked us both up and threw us in the lake... of course we went under water a bit... and I member feeling something "slither" by my leg... I member when I started to come back up I opened my eyes and saw a dark shape below me... when I hit the surface I screamed my ass off and crying like mad! .... they got me back in the boat and I just kept saying the Ogopogo almost got me!!!!!.... they all laughed.... and yeah chances are it was a fish of some sort!!! But course being a young kid... you know! HAHAHAHA!

Yeah I've heard about this, basically the same as the Loch Ness Monster. I wonder if there are any vidoe sightings of the Ogopogo?

When I'm about 50 or so years old, I want to get all grizzled looking, like Quint and then go after one of these monsters...haha.

Yeah, I've heard about Ogopogo as well as the Loch Ness monster. I've seen several videos and pics about both creatures but you can never truly know what to believe, right?

Craig, you have to know more legents about Nessie, right? You're from Scotland you must have heard a lot about it. Many have visited the lake and said they actualy saw something there...

I use to have a loads of books about The Loch Ness Monster, I have been fascinated about the whole thing for many, many years.

There is also suppose to be a sea monster in lake champlain on the edge of quebec/new york, hes called champ if I recall properly

^^^ yup! There was actually a really creepy video someone took of "Champ" a few years back and made the ABC News one night... dunno what came of the video though and if they proved/disproved anything of it...
