Which movie, namely Andrew's part/performance in it, do you prefer? Andrew had a more violent role in TCM:TB, what with Leatherface breaking his boss's legs with a sledge, then bashing his head, nailing Eric down to the table and skinning his arms before sticking a chainsaw through his gut, and that added violence I liked, him being the head killer and all. But he can be overshadowed by R Lee Ermy at times. Andrew seriously could have got more screentime in both movies, his performance as Leatherface is, quite-possibly, the best! I'll say The Beginning, even though he could have got more screentime, his fight sceen was better, he gets to lift and drag people and do stuff I'm not sure we've ever seen Leatherface do before. And we get more backstory to his charatcer as well. What do you guys think? |

Andrew gives a brilliant performance in both films, but I like the remake a little bit more. |

i think beginning scored way more points for its brutality and creepy scenes...and the best part was that you KNEW there would be no survivors and they still managed to make it suspensful. In the end i think i still like the remake better, it just KILLED the horror scene at the time and gave a great new vision to the original. the cast rocked and AB and Ermey fuckin cooked together! www.y3kdesigns.net www.myspace.com/greggposerina

The Beginning. No doubt about it for me. I think in the Remake he was a mite-bit 'Gunnar-esque.' I think he sort of wore the Leatherface legacy and adapted it. Once he did TCM:TB, he had that antecedent role to use to truly CREATE a whole new Leatherface for us. Not even just a new Leatherface, he created Tommy and brought Tommy and all his horrible background; unrestrained curiosity; brute, calculating strength and hatred for anything that breathes, practically, to life for us in the way Gunnar brought Leatherface to life for us - in TECHNICOLOR, baby! We saw it, heard it, FELT IT in our boooones! I truly feel Tommy is more terrifying than Leatherface because he is still 'the man' and not yet the 'masked monster' so much. I think people are far more horrifying by nature than any monster could ever wish to be. |

I have to go with the remake as well. Andrew did great in both movies, but he was scary as fuck in the remake. |

I don't think I could kill my friend ... I would've gotten under him, on the piano, and stood up to lift him up or something. I could never live with myself after having killed him and left his body for those terrible people. |

Oh yeah, theres something else about Andrew in The Beginning. The mask he wears allows us too see more eye expression. The way he does his eyes after he killed his boss, it could mean so many things. Maybe hes just realized the severity of what hes done, makes hes discovered he likes it, considering he got another weapon and all. Andrew did great in both, be he still scores best for me in The Beginning. |

I liked both, as Andrew kicked ass in both of them, but I liked the 03 remake a bit more than ''The Beginning''. Proud member of the Hewitt family!!
