I was just racking my brain to try think of all the different titles and diversity of sasquatch movies. There was one I was trying to think of that really freaked me out as a kid, so I was searching all the possibilities online and found out it was Snowbeast. Here's what I remember or found searching online: The Snow Creature (1954) Ju jin yuki otoko/Beast Man Snow Man (1955)/Half Human: The Story of the Abominable Snowman (1958) The Abominable Snowman (1957) Ostroznie, Yeti! (1961) The Legend of Boggy Creek (1972) Shriek of the Mutilated (1974) La Maldicion de la bestia/The Werewolf and the Yeti (1975) Six Million Dollar Man "The Secret of Bigfoot" (1975, there was a sequel episode too) Return to Boggy Creek (1977) Creature from Black Lake (1976) Curse of Bigfoot (1976) Return to Boggy Creek (1977) Sasquatch: The Legend of Bigfoot (1977) Snowbeast (1977) Yeti-il gigante del 20. secelo/Yeti of the Gant 20th Century (1977) Bigfoot and Wildboy (1977-TV show) The Capture of Bigfoot (1979) Revenge of Bigfoot (1979) Boggy Creek 2 (1985, see the MST3K version) Harry and the Hendersons (1987) Bigfoot: The Unforgettable Encounter (1995) The Abominable Snowman (1996) Little Bigfoot (1997) Little Bigfoot 2: The Journey Home (1997) Sasquatch Hunters (1999 - mockumentary) Ein Yeti Zum Verlieben/My Friend the Yeti (2001) The Untold/Sasquatch (2002) Suburban Sasquatch (2004) The Unknown/Clawed: The Legend of Sasquatch (2005) Bigfoot (2005) Sasquatch Hunters (2005) Yeti: A Love Story (2006) Any I missed, I think those were the main ones. I see there is a big resurgence in Bigfoot movies. There seems to be a resurgence of monster films in general. BTW, the more you say abominable, the weirder it sounds.

As far as I'm concerned, there is only one bigfoot film, and that is Abominable

I've been wasting more hours of my life reading through all the comments and reviews on many of these movies, and two things are becoming clear. One, even though I was a big boyhood fan of bigfoot, I have never really watched any fictional movies on the beast. Two, the quality level on bigfoot movies is extremely low considering that those who have reviewed such things seem to agree that Harry and the Hendersons is the best bigfoot movie out. And they all bemoan that it is not a horror movie. Like I said, I haven't watched very many Squatch films, but I think Abominable is the best of the horror lot. Especially since I seem to have a fascination with this film enough that I found myself repeatedly viewing it since Saturday on my DVR, which I've done only with films like the Blair Witch Project and Pulp Fiction.

Both Boggy Creek movies were filmed in my hometown of Texarkana. Charles B. Pierce (director) is a good friend of my moms so I got to see all the locations they filmed, and a ton of behind the scenes photos, props etc... I even got to take a tour of Foulke swamp where the 'Foulke Monster' supposedly lived. I was scared, but very intrigued. I guess that's why I have love for both of the films... just watched Boggy 2 a month or so ago. I love Cindy Butler in that movie... I had a huge crush on her as a kid.

There are actually 3 Boggy Creek films. The original was followed by a sequel called Return to Boggy Creek that Pierce was not involved in (supposedly there was a rift in the creative talent like in the Living Dead series, but I don't know who was the person from the original that created this one), and then in 1985 there was Boggy Creek 2. Return was partially film in Texarkana according to IMDB.

Yea, that's why they called the third 'The Bloody Beast of Boggy Creek'. Even thought the only thing it killed was a deer.

He lives in Hot Springs Arkansas now. I'm sure he is out of the film business... maybe you could reach his son, Charles jr. online?

SASQUATCH and ABOMINABLE are the 2 best I have seen. Although the MST3K version of Boggy Creek 2 is a must own!
