Hey Rob, were the kills of Hatchet 2 storyboarded? Did the look of Victor Crowley for the sequel had to be illustrated just to get the make-up right and better than the first one or did they just go back to the first design of the film?

Yes, all the kills were storyboarded so that we all would be on the same page as to what was going to be seen in camera. Kill sequence story boards are something we absolutley need when pulling off the old school non CG effects. As far as Crowley goes we had not illustrated it at all because we already knew how Crowley should look. We really went straight to the clay sculpture and kept working at it till it felt, looked, and worked right in all of our eyes. It really did come out amazing. -Rob www.hollywoodghosthunters.com

Well 17 kills, there should be at least five axe kills. I can envision them already too. An axe swung to the side of a victim's skull, chopping off the top half. An axe right to the face, a perfect homage to the original Friday the 13th. An axe to the forehead, an axe chopping off a person's arm. There could be a lot of ideas used when doing axe kills.

Unfortunately "Hatchet 2" has no "axe" kills for some strange reason, I'm not sure about this but I think no one thought to include axe kills in a hatchet movie. I will say however that ALL the kills are very inventive and VERY entertaining! I won't ruin the kills for you but if you look around the net I'm sure you can find descriptions of what was shown at The Weekend of Horrors, and also Boz and Crafter, this was done for you guys as well as the rest of the fans of Hatchet and original horror movies everywhere. None of us made this for a paycheck but more for the love of the genre and as a big sloppy bloody wet kiss thank you to the fans! -Rob www.hollywoodghosthunters.com

Hell Yeah! I don't believe Hatchet 2 was made for a paycheck. I really believe this was made for all the slasher fans and horror fans around the world. With the plague of remakes infecting every theatre around the world, it's very rare for a whole new horror franchise to surface. Hatchet is that one franchise that will prove that original horror is not dead. I'm not paying any attention to the harsh criticisms made by critics who bashed the original. The way I see it, their minds have been warped by the plague of remakes. Every critic is so used to remakes now, it's like that's all they're expecting to see now. They believe original horror is dead. That's not true. It's alive and one day it will make its triumphant return to the horror society. I'm a true fan to Hatchet. If the Hatchet Army shirts were still available, I would purchase one and perhaps a Hatchet 2 shirt if one is available for fan purchase.
