I've been listening to this album religiously.
Highly recommended.

Got a similar one. It's also GREATEST HITS, but cover is different.

Love the OST for Assault 13... oh and FOG theme rocks big time

I was 10 years old in 1980 when THE FOG came out and I bought the soundtrack instantly. I especially love the track with the pounding synth drum (Reel 9). It's incorporated throughout the chase sequences near the end of the film. Dreamlike mounting terror. Growing up, there was a drum set in my basement and I used to go down there in the dark and pound on the drums to mimic THE FOG...

man I adooooore THE FOG. It's example how horror movie should be made when it comes to script. It's totally leakless, everything is just in place.

The only thing John could do better were pirate ghosts, glowing eyes on a puppets looks silly... but that is the ONLY complain I ever had for THE FOG (unlike remake which is pile of crap... they can take all that fancy CGI and put it . $*9*% ..)

I love all music. I tend to favor an electronic sound. Moog synths glow brightest in my mind.

Ennio Morricone
Laurie Anderson
Coil
Severed Heads
Vince Clarke

ha ha ha, no way DEPECHE MODE... I saw them few months ago live... Great concert. Seats and tickets were limited (it was inside arena, not open concert) so there wasn't load of people (about 5.000) but it was still badass...

and after that AC\DC!!! BEST CONCERT EVER period... They blow up the stage... literally. It was worth that almost $200 price. (about 160 euros)
