Hell Yeah Boz!! I am beyond excited to see her in TORTURE CHAMBER. I saw TCM as a child and her performance alone forever set a HIGH bar for horror films for me.
Marilyn has some of the MOST intense screen time ever filmed for the horror genre. The TCM dinner scene STILL makes me sick. No matter how many time I have seen that film I STILL have to look away when the sledge hammer comes down on her head. Her eyes were crazy in that film as she looked around everywhere in that dining room screaming her head off. She was brilliant. You just can't beat her. I haven't seen an actress yet who could make me feel as upset as she did in that whole sequence.
Not to mention the closing sequence when she escapes. Running down the road screaming, bruised, full of blood, losing her mind from all she just went through while Leatherface chases her. She was broken and shattered giving the viewer the feeling that she will never recover from what happened to her. That is the way horror movies SHOULD end. No happy "hero" moments. She escaped but the woman was still fucked. She would have been better off dead. Her eyes, her facial expressions...she nailed it. She def. has one of the most impactful moments ever in a horror film. I am happy as hell to see her come back!!!!!!!!!!

Some actresses are hot even in their prime... Christina Lindberg comes to my mind... She is at her '50 and she still looks hot. (without plastic surgeries!)

I agree about the whole dinner scene, when I was younger watching TCM, the dinner scene, and the end chase scene is what scared me the most.... When watching it I always thought it was real, not just the LF story, but what I was actually watching was really happending to that poor girl lol.
For years I always wondered what happened to the truck driver in the yellow t-shirt, I used to feel sorry for that poor fat bastard lol.... I used to think to myself, yeah Sally, you and the pickup driver just ride away, and leave the truck driver behind.... and LF will probably ends up chasing after him lol.

she went through hell maken this picture but she stuck it out. she was great in it and went through alot in it for real

So true Boz. The heat they had to endure in that sequence and the stench of all the rotting food would be enough to make most actress' walk away but she stuck it out and it shines through in that movie. No doubt it was a great mix of acting with sheer tension and frustration from the conditions she was acting under. I never read any stories about the blood syrup sticking to her. My boyfriend went to school for FX and I asked him about corn syrup blood drying. He said just what you said, it is pretty much damn near impossible to get off when dried on in hot conditions. Poor Marilyn. The lady is a true scream queen.
I still think about that poor truck driver too SK. lol. I love it when films have open endings like that though. Let's our minds wonder what happened, and most of the time what happens in our minds is much worse than what would actually happen if we could see it.

i remember to she actuasl got cut on the finger by the knife . the blood tubeing on the knife just wouldnt work so they took it off and didsnt tell poor marilyn and the scream you hear her do in that scene is real
great actress and she took all the cuts and bruises like a champ.
