Okay, call me Susie-Sunshine on a horror flick board -- I just liked all the good energy that was going before and thought I'd start a few threads heading back in that direction. There is so much talent in this film -- some of which many of you may not even realize. Feel free to comment on your experience working with these actors in Furnace or on the wonderful job they've done in other films you've seen. They are awsome talents and are surely deserving the positive attention! Can't wait until the release of this film. Whenever that is, it will be worth the wait. |

I forgot to add that there were many other wonderful actors in this film that we just didn't have the privilege of working with -- but some of the rest of you did! So, please start something nice about them too! |

The entire cast, with an exception, was awesome! I was honored to work with Michael, Jenny, Victoria, Danny Trejo, Billy, Aaron, Anghus, Johnnie, The F/X crews and so many of the extras who I have actually kept in touch with since returning to Texas!

Taylor Kinney was nice as hell (and the ladies seemed to like him). Jonny was a blast to have around, and Clay who played Scags was pleasant as pleasant can be. Two friends of mine from Wilmington were also always a pleasure to have around, DJ Naylor and Dominic Santana. It was really cool having two guys who had worked on other productions with me there, mixed in with the local talent and the California crew.
despite the freakish environmental conditions, it really was a fun shoot. there's a picture of Billy and Viorel that makes me laugh every time i see it. Viorel is grinning with this creepy look on his face and Billy looks like he needs a really stong drink.
Speaking of pictures: Michael Pare cannot photograph badly. Every shot i have of him, even one's where everyone else isnt paying attention and has a stressed look on their face, Michael just looks like he's posing for the cover of a magazine. The man cannot take a bad photo. |
