As those of who saw on the Pit of Horror Forum, Stan Winston is no longer with us. Stan is well known for his many years in the film industry as one of the top fx wizards. However, Stan has his place in Friday History. For it was Stan that designed the original undermask for Friday the 13th Part III, the story of the undermask was told by Richard Brooker in the Part III commentary for the Box Set on the Part III disc. Even though you only see photos from the deleted dream sequence where Richard is wearing the mask as well as his avatar here on G&G, that undermask was used while Richard wore the hockey mask where there were no closeups of Jason. Stan, you will be missed and remembered by us in the Friday the 13th and horror communities. God Bless You, Stan.
