There is a lot emotion in Part III. If you watch Chris, you can see her becoming more unhinged when she is standing in the corner after finding Loco's body and before Rick's comes through the window. When it is her and Jason in the house, you can see her descent in madness by the way she lunged at Jason with the knife, and how she fights back. Nearly running Jason over, hanging him by a noose in the barn..and then in the end when she thought she saw Jason in the house and when Mrs. Voorhees pulled her into the water. Her complete breakdown is shown in how she was laughing when they put her in the car and how she was screaming when the car door closed. Dana Kimmell did a great job showing Chris's raw emotion and survival instinct. And Jason showed emotion in this film too. When he was injured, his muffled howls underneath the mask was because he felt pain, and then when he was ripping apart the barn looking for Chris he showed extreme anger. Much is made about Jason not showing emotion, but it comes out in this film-excellent work by Richard Brooker. This is why Part III is my favorite of the series. http://www.richardjbrooker.com/ http://www.theyouawards.com/
