picture of sally in friday the 13th is at the bottom of this thread .original friday the 13th cast member SALLY ANNE GOLDEN was almost casted in part 3 but she died in real life. she played sandy the diner owner/waitress in the original. she was talking to the steve character at the diner. anyway i read that they wanted to cast her and bring her back as sandy in part 3 and give her a bit of a bigger role of some kind as sandy but she died in january of 1982. its to bad she died because i would have loved to seen how they would have done her role with more screen time.. cant remrmber where i read that but it would have been kinda cool. its funny though she had such a small role in the friday the 13th movie that no one ever talks about her. i wander if jason would have killed her in part 3 if her character would have been added in there if she hadnt died. I doubt it, she probably would have interacted with Harold and Edna most likely and would have been the one to find the bodies if they had been able to write in her character. Or perhaps the Higgins Haven group would have stopped at the diner. http://www.richardjbrooker.com/ http://www.theyouawards.com/

Yeah-it is kind of sad. That is one thing I really miss about the early films-is that the smaller characters had impact on how the story was told and are still remembered for their roles. http://www.richardjbrooker.com/ http://www.theyouawards.com/

yeah, i mean in the earlier films like the frist one like you said the smaller roles were important to.. i think it was cool that they were going to bring her back but i wish we would have known how they were going to write her character in there she could have also been edna or harold mom, she died at the age of 71 so she could have been one of thier mother and she found them. i always think about the small characters to that sometimes get forgotten in the early films by sequels and bigger characters again...r.i.p sally |
